Where are you located?

TAF Raleigh is located in Cameron Village near downtown Raleigh, NC.  We are about 2 blocks from NC State University and within a short jog of the NC Capital Complex.  Visit our "Store Locations" page for street address and contact information.

How do I get a job at TAF-Raleigh?

We are always looking for quality folks to join our operation.  We recommend having some retail experience (but training is provided) along with at working knowledge of running and/or biomechanics.  Remember, we don't just sell shoes; we fit them.  If you are not interested in learning how to "fit" our clients, don't bother inquiring about a job. 

Please submit cover letter, resume, and application for consideration. 

Why do you only carry running shoes?

We are a "Running Specialty Store." 

We feel that running shoes provide us with the best materials and technology to fit our customers.  Running shoes are available in extended sizes and widths and with varying stability and cushioning features.  This allows and almost "custom" fit for most individuals.

We do carry Crocs and Rainbow sandals in addition to our extensive running shoe selection.

The Athlete's Foot just opened in "Anytown, USA", will it be the same type of store?

Probably not.  Since TAF is a franchise operation, each individual store caters to the needs of their market.  TAF-Raleigh's ownership chooses to specialize in proper fit, running, and customer service.  Therefore we carry some products not available at other TAF stores.  It is best to contact the individual store to see if it meets your shoe needs.

I had a TAF gift card but lost it.  What can I do?

Unfortunately, TAF gift cards are just like cash.  We are not responsible for lost/stolen gift cards.  We advise that you keep them in a safe place for future use.  If you have a card with an unknown balance, you can take it to ANY TAF store to check the available balance. 

I need to return items from another TAF store, can I return them at TAF-Raleigh?

We will honor returns from other TAF franchise stores, with a few exceptions.                          Due to the high number of counterfeit product, TAF no longer accepts returns of Jordan, Nike LE, or any Licensed products.  We suggest you return them to the original place of purchase

  • Original receipt must be included

  • Return must be within 30 days of original purchase

  • Shoes must be unworn and in original box

  • NO RETURNS on Clearance items

  • NO RETURNS of Air Jordan products or Nike Limited Edition shoes (AF-1)

  • NO RETURNS of Licensed products (NBA/NFL jerseys, hats, etc...)
